Hotel Onyxen is situated in a beautiful 19th century building and has 34 modern rooms all with chandellers and tasteful decoration. The Hotel is regulary refurbished to keep it modern and fresh and to include all the facitities required in a hotel.

Room information :

All our single rooms have a COMFORT adjustable angle bed. They all have bathroom and shower, desk, telephone, cable television, radio, broadband access point (telia homerun), trouser press/iron and hairdryer. Difference with the double rooms is that there is a sofa/armchair in most of the rooms. Superior rooms Our luxary spacious family rooms. Comments :

We have our own Secure Parking available for 120 SEK per day, the space is limited so we do not prebook the places. However, there are a number of Parking areas in the vacinity all within a short walking distance.

When staying at Hotel Onyxen you are only walking distance away from Gothenburg's heart, as it is approx 5 minutes walking distance from Götaplatsen where the Art Museum, Theatres and the Library are located. from Götaplatsen starts the Avenyn - Gothenburgs biggest retaurant & nightlife street - passing by the Stora Teatre, Kungsportsplatsen (where the shopping heart is), on to Nordstan (indoor shopping arcade) and onto the Harbour, where the stunning Opera House is situated. Across the strret from the Hotel is Gothenburg's Event 'city', which includes Scandinavium, Liseberg, Universium and the Exhibition Hall.

Travel information :

Hotel Onyxen is convenient however you come to Gothenburg: • If by car, take the Mässan/Scandinavium/Liseberg exit from E6 and turn right at the Korsvägen roundabout. • If by plane, take the airportbus from either Landvetter Airport to the Korsvägen stop or from Gothenburg City Airport to CentralStation and then and then change to the no. 13 or 14 tram to Scandinavium. • If by train, take the no. 13 or 14 tram from Centralstation or to Scandinavium (two stops away). • If by ferry, take no. 3 or 9 tram from the ferry terminals to Centralstation and then change to the no. 13 or 14 tram to Scandinavium .
