This is a fairly new hotel, totally built in Turkish Ottoman style and an absolute ‘jewel’. Situated only 8 minutes walk from the centre of Dalyan, it is easy to access the shops, little bars and authentic restaurants that make up the village atmosphere. The centre is also where the pretty harbour opens out providing a beautiful walk, bordered by restaurants, the mosque, a bank, children’s play area and patisseries serving baklava, Nescafe and dondurma (ice cream

The Konak Melsa is run by a family who also live in Holland for part of the year so it has a Continental influence. The hotel restaurant serves traditional Turkish cuisine and is situated in the attractive courtyard around which the hotel is built. The shaped swimming pool is actually another attractive feature at the end of the courtyard with separate children’s pool and pool bar.

The reception is very inviting with internet facilities and safety deposit boxes (payable locally). All the rooms are twin or double-bedded with en-suite shower & WC and a balcony or terrace. There is also a suite available with the same facilities plus a sofa-style bed to sleep up to 4 people. Fan hire is available plus some rooms have air-conditioning which is on request, subject to availability and payable locally
