Our dining-rooms have been newly designed and furnished in a Provencal style catering for up to 130 guests yet without impairing the original cosy atmosphere. Guests will have a chance of enjoying our celebrated far-famed home cooking in a snugly atmosphere of cosiness. Our chef will spoil you with either meat , fish or venison , seasonal dishes or Luxembourg specialities. In the summer we warmly recommend a salad on our charming terrace with view to the unspoilt Sauer valley. We abound in suggestions as to menus of the day, seasonal specialities and of course our à la carte.

Our charming hotel prides itself on a long hotel tradition and is centrally situated, close to the old Roman settlements at the southern edges of the Eifel, at the foot of the Ardennes, and in midst of the German-Luxembourg national park, close to little Luxembourg Switzerland. There is an extraordinary variety of the scenic hilly country-side of the German-Luxembourg national park and a myriad of rare species and a remarkable fauna and flora. Take a walk along the river meanding its course through a sandstone plateau with steep rocky cliffs and dark, mysterious gorges all testifying to a nature pulsating with vitality. Our guests may wish to enliven their stay with a day-trip to the old Roman settlement Trier , the abbatial towns of Echternach and Clervaux, a visit to the medieval casles of Vianden or Beaufort, a boat trip on the Moselle River ,or paddling down the Our or Sauer rivers in a rented canoe, to mention only some of a myriad possibilities.
