The Danubius Thermal Hotel Aqua, a four-star spa and wellness hotel is located in the heart of Hévíz, one of Europe's most important spas. The therapy-center of the hotel offers treatments for healing of rheumatic diseases and locomotor disorders. The cures offered are based on the thermal water and the mud of the lake. M.), circulatory disturbances combined with cardiac insufficiency, after operation and attack of the heart (PTCA, coronary bypass, Myocardial infarction, etc. we need the last documents from the cardiac-surgery), thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, serious cases of anaemia, leukemia, hemophilia, hyperthyreoidism (M. Basedow), resistent hypertonic disease, pregnancy, children under 14 years. The rooms are equipped with bath, colour satellite remote control TV, direct dial telephone, radio, minibar, hairdryer, free bathrobe use and French balcony, 220 V electric current. Connection rooms, non-smoking rooms and rooms for disabled persons are provided. In roomprice included: free use of bathing establishment (thermal bath, fun-bath, outdoor swimmingpool - mid April to mid October -, sauna) and fitness room, free bathrobe.

The Restaurant Aurea and Brasserie Arbor, with terrace overlooking the gardens, offer international, Hungarian, dietetic dishes and regional specialities as well. In addition we also serve a wide range of vegetarian and fish specialities in the Zala Room. Cocktail Bar Quint in the lobby and the Café Terrace Bellevue in the garden (summer), offer a fine selection of drinks and coffee specialities in pleasant surroundings.

Stay for children under 12 y. sharing parent`s room (on extra bed or cot)is free. Families with 2 children under 12 y. receive 2 double rooms for te price of 2 single rooms. Children`s meals (with a reduction of 50%)are to be paid on spot.

About the lake The thermal lake of Hévíz is the largest one of its kind in the world and covers a territory of 47,500 m2. The water contains sulphide, the bottom is covered by mud, containing organic and unorganic components. Water temperature in summer: 33-35°C/92-96°F, in winter: 26°C/80°F.
